The Myth
The Orci are bloodthirsty giants from Italian folklore, feared for their monstrous appetite and their preference for human babies. They are depicted as dangerous supernatural beings whose hunger makes them a threat to vulnerable children and their families.
Little further information about the Orci is provided in the available account. Their defining characteristics are their enormous size, their bloodthirsty nature, and their notorious preference for eating human babies.
