The Myth

Ayashos is a chimera-like creature and one of the most powerful beings in the mythology of the Puget Sound Indians. Its body is divided between two animals: the front half resembles a deer, while the rest of its body is that of a snake.

Ayashos is said to be so powerful that anyone who attacks it risks being transformed into birds.
