The Myth

Fengxi was a monstrous, two-headed pig that lived in a mulberry forest in the south during the era of Emperor Yao. Possessing immense strength, the beast rampaged through the surrounding lands, attacking people and bringing suffering to the local population.

To end its terror, Emperor Yao sent the legendary archer Yi to hunt the monster. Yi shot Fengxi in the leg while it was in the mulberry forest and captured it alive, bringing an end to its rampage.
